Individual:I provide individual treatment to cancer patients and their families helping them cope with cancer related problems at any stage of diagnosis, illness, treatment and recovery. Most cancer patients face fear, loss of control, grief, hopelessness, fear of death and many other very difficult emotions. They often feel isolated, and do not wish to burden those they love with their most private suffering.
Cancer treatments are very difficult and have cognitive and emotional effects that are often unaddressed by medical professionals. IIn our work together we will attempt to transform difficult emotions into something bearable and growth promoting.
We will focus on living successfully with cancer and improve your quality of life regardless of the stage of illness to help you in your path to recovery. We will work on increasing your ability to cope with cancer, improve symptom management and bare difficulty of cancer treatment side effects.
